Effervescent Multivitamins

Effervescent Multivitamins

Many people continue to believe that taking effervescent multivitamins is useless when eating a balanced diet. However, according to the National Institutes of Health, if the effervescent multivitamins data set does not allow for a recommendation to be made, they also do not advise against it. A review of the scientific literature shows that the use of Amcal effervescent multivitamins delays the ageing of the brain and prevents the emergence of Alzheimer’s disease in the elderly.

Should effervescent multivitamins therefore be taken? Vitamin C is an “essential” nutrient for us humans because we cannot synthesize it in our bodies. However, is a healthy and varied diet sufficient to meet our nutrient needs? “Cofactors” present in the same foods as dietary food vitamins appear to increase their absorption due to their interaction with each other. On the other hand, while some beneficial effects of synthetic vitamin C consumption have been observed in small studies, large, well-controlled studies show no change in oxidation markers or obvious health benefits.

This attitude betrays, in my opinion, an extremely worrying lack of objectivity. Most effervescent multivitamins supplements today contain chemicals that have never been part of our natural diet, do not come from plants, and are unable to do the work that vitamins enable in our bodies. As part of a standardization effort, US and Canadian medical authorities jointly determined the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA), which represents the optimal intake of a nutrient and is based on scientific data acceptable to physicians and expert nutritionists.

Taking Berocca Performance Effervescent Orange Amcal usually gives mixed results. You are not what you eat, but what you digest, absorb and assimilate. Humans are entirely programmed by millennia of advancement to naturally utilize nutrients in the environment.

Folate, and vitamin B, are involved in the metabolism of homocysteine, a very important reaction because high blood levels of homocysteine are associated with a decrease in intellectual and cognitive abilities. Taking an effervescent multivitamins supplement could also reduce the risk of myocardial infarction (heart attack) in the long term. As a result, many of these analogues are unable to assume in our body the biological functions of vitamins, and may even be toxic at higher levels. In other words, these vitamins are generally present in the form of complexes having multiple components, synergistically linked with other nutrients and healthy elements present in natural foods. Vitamin B in a naturally active form is also found under the terms: -methyl-tetrahydrofolate, methylfolate, folinic acid or calcium folinate. Functional vitamin activity can only occur when all cofactors and components of the vitamin complex are present and work in synergy.

According to experts, people who take multivitamins are generally the ones who need them the least. Also, lots of multivitamin supplements available on the market just do not work. Data from the most recent large-scale studies indicate that multivitamins did not have a positive or negative effect on the risk of skin cancer. For reasons of tablet size, the majority of multivitamin and mineral supplements do not contain the recommended nutritional intake of calcium.
