Fees

Our consultation fees are as follows:

Pensioners

Pensioners will continue to be bulk billed for consultations.

Health Care Card Holders

Health Care Card Holders will be charged at the Medicare Schedule Fee ($83.95 & $42.20).

It would be appreciated if the fees could be settled at the time of presentation of the account. Payments can be made by cash, cheque or credit/debit card.

Fees for general surgery

Accounts for private patients in a private hospital will be sent directly to your health fund for payment.

Public patients will be covered fully for procedures in a Public Hospital, but will be charged for post-operative attendances in the rooms.

Bariatric Surgery - Bayside Obesity Group

Band/Roux-en-Y/Gastric Bypass or Sleeve

$3,700.00 copayment (includes anaesthetist, assistant and dietitian only). This assumes you have full private insurance. There will be additional costs such as pathology, radiology and any additional specialist consultation that may be required during your admission. These costs are impossible to quantify. No out of pocket expense for review visits with Mr Skidmore.

Revisional Surgery

$4,700.00 copayment (includes anaesthetist, assistant and dietitian only). This assumes you have full private insurance. There will be additional costs such as pathology, radiology and any additional specialist consultation that may be required during your admission. These costs are impossible to quantify. No out of pocket expense for review visits with Mr Skidmore.
